Shandwick Stone Brooch
This is one of the many beautiful complex tangle of knots found on the ancient and mysterious Pictish Slab Cross of Scotland. From the weather beaten Shandwick Stone of Easter Ross I have sourced design, and it is dated from 9CE. With the help of George Bain’s book on how to authentically draw Celtic Art, I have recreated this iconic piece of Pictish history.
The piece is 3.5cm in diameter, and approximately 17g of Australian Sterling Silver. It is available in a range of colours including green, blue, red or “Eye Effect Amber”.
