Cornish Sword Kilt Pin
This is a long sword style from the 11th century, emblazoned with the black crest of Cornwall. It is decorated with the Cross of Saint Columba from the 5th or 6th century CE. St Columba was a martyr, and after she died a miraculous holy well appeared where her body lay. The sword pummel has deep red enamel set into it.
It is 10cm x 3cm, and can be worn on a jacket lapel, a clan scarf or a kilt.
