The Viking Ring
This is a Manx ring-chain knot, which is commonly found in viking art and metal work. These knots dominate the 10th century Moghul Cross, from the Isle of Man. Another name for this is a ‘Borre knot’, named after the place in Norway where a Viking horde of gold contained examples of this ring-chain style.
This is a strong ring that is well suited to being worn as a wedding band or as a casual dress ring. It is available in both 7mm and 8mm widths. Although similar, it does make a difference to make them suitable for His and Her wedding bands.
