Strathmartine Knot Necklace
This is Pictish knot work of the 8th-9th century CE, from Strathmartine, Angus, Scotland. These are classical patterns of interlocking trinity knots.
It is quite a large piece, with a diameter of 3.5 cm, and 3mm thick. It is also available as a brooch.
