This piece is based on art nouveau ornamentation from the architect, Albert Roosenboom, found at at Rue Faider 83, Brussels, 1900. I have been inspired by the architectural detail on buildings for most of my life. As a child sitting in Mass, I would drift off to another age, gazing at the various forms in stone and wood carvings. Gothic, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, or South Indian. All are inspirational and awe inspiring.
