Red Dragon of Wales Ring
This dragon is a symbol founded in the legends of Merlin and Arthur. In the legend, some men were building a castle, and Merlin, as a boy, told the builders to dig under it. They did, and found a Red Dragon and a White Dragon, each still in an egg in the waters of a lake. The Red Dragon represented the Celtic army, and the White Dragon was that of the invading Saxons. Both dragons hatched out, attacked each other and the Red Dragon won, symbolising the victory of the Celtic army over the Saxons.
