Durrow Bracelet
Based on a design in the Book Of Durrow, which is the oldest surviving of the Great Gospel texts of early Christian Ireland. This illuminated manuscript was made in the mid 6th century CE.
This is a heavy sterling silver bracelet that has been heat annealed 4 times, hand worked for 6 hours with fret saw and high sx`eed handset using cutting burrs as small as 0.6mm. Then finally it is hand burnished and buffed to a rich finish. It is truly a collector’s piece.
