Wee Beastie Pendant
This sweet little design is from St Patricks Bell Shrine, on one of the elaborate, decorative side panels. This Bell Shrine is from around the 10th century CE, County Armagh, Ireland. It is an example of the blending of the two cultures of the Gael and the Viking. It is a traditional Irish spiral knot that has been morphed into a small Viking dragon. For over 700 years, the Mulholland Family of Ireland were the hereditary keepers of this important Shrine.
This is approximately 2.5cm in diameter, and available with a little green or blue eye.
