Based on a slab of masonry found at Christ’s Temple, Dublin. The work dates from the 11th Century and contains many Viking styled zoomorphic as well as Celtic art. The stone was possibly the work of an apprentice.
This is based on designs found on a slab of masonry found among the ruins of the Church of the Temple of Jesus, Co Dublin, of the 10th century CE. It is a beautiful piece of Irish Knot work, the bevelled edges of the four major knots lifts the design and creates flashes of light.
It is 3.5cm in diameter, also available as a necklace.
